Salvia and Marigold autumn flowers

Hot Lips Salvia and Mexican Marigolds

Together these beneficial shrubs provide showy foliage, colourful flowers and a neat background to the southern boundary of Jan’s Garden.

Last summer the fig tree was removed from this boundary of the garden.

Now a blue flowering one to two metre shrub with blue flowers will be chosen to replace it alongside the red hot lips salvia adjoining dazzling yellow of the Mexican Marigold.

The hope now is to have a continuous hedge of flowering beneficial plants to attract bees and other beneficial insects

A garden depicts an evolving expression of nature.
