This is the last day of the lunar cycle which began on November 12th.
Each day during the month activities in the garden have been recorded.
It is interesting note the growth and development of plants during that period
The cos lettuce were transplanted on the 7th day of the cycle and today the leaves are ready to pick.
Tomorrow marks the first day of the next lunar cycle when the new moon rises and in the moon garden we focus on sowing green leafy vegetables once more.
I organize activities in the garden by following the phases of the moon as it is a simple method which
- maintains discipline
- provides for easy planning currently and looking forward
- enables simple strategies for record keeping
- keeps one focused not only in the garden but with in the environment
